Shorthand for the current date as MM/DD/YY. If a parameter is provided, then it will be in DD/MM/YY.
The current year is {{date}}, but in the UK you'd write it as {{date|1}}.
The current year is 05/19/2024, but in the UK you'd write it as 19/05/2024.
