"Citation needed / Wiki is for facts, not opinions or personal statements please"

Regarding this edit, QBWiki does not have any such policy. In general, opinions and personal statements are fine, though specific opinions or personal statements might be inappropriate. Citations are desirable if it makes sense (which it doesn't for the statement you were complaining about), but not required. There was nothing wrong with Shiva saying that he was hooked on quiz bowl from the beginning.

Also, it's probably a bad idea for non-admins to tell other people how to write on the QBWiki for topics they have nothing to do with, no personal knowledge of, etc. We don't have a formal policy on this the way HSQB does; this is more a social convention. Jonah (talk) 16:10, 19 October 2017 (CDT)
