Walter Zhang currently plays quizbowl at Brown. He was part of the team that won the UG title at the 2021 ICT and 2021 ACF Nationals. Zhang played for Vestavia Hills in high school, and led the team to a T-31 finish at the 2019 HSNCT. During that tournament, his Vestavia Hills team defeated the eventual runners-up, University Lab, in the prelims.
