Westview High School is a public high school located in the Torrey Highlands community of northern San Diego. Westview partakes in both Quizbowl and its local Academic League, where it has had a history of local dominance. The school has historically succeeded from importing in top tier middle school Quizbowl players from Mesa Verde, Black Mountain, and Meadowbrook, though with the decline of such programs, the school has started to rely more and more on recruiting high schoolers with no prior experience. Westview is best known for its second place run at 2017 PACE NSC and a potentially highly promising run at 2020's national championships, which were unfortunately cancelled.
