Westview High School is a public high school located in the Torrey Highlands community of northern San Diego.
Westview is dominant in its local San Diego County Academic League. The school has historically succeeded from importing in top-tier middle school quizbowl players from Mesa Verde, Black Mountain, and Meadowbrook, though with the decline of such programs, the school has started to rely more and more on recruiting high schoolers with no prior experience.
Westview placed second at 2017 PACE NSC. It would have had a potentially highly promising run at 2020's national championships, which were unfortunately cancelled.
