The 2021 MSHSAA realignment was a restructuring of MSHSAA's Scholar Bowl state series.

Before the 2021 season, schools were divided into 4 classes based on the size of their student bodies (which are "adjusted" for certain factors). After the realignment, there are now 6 classes in total, with fewer schools in each class. Each class is split geographically into 8 districts; like before, the winner of each district plays an adjacent district's winner at sectionals to determine who advances to state.

In addition, private schools' enrollment numbers are no longer multiplied by 1.35; they now receive a boost proportional to their historical performance. Single-gender schools also no longer have their enrollments doubled.
