2025 OAC States
The 2025 OAC State Tournament was held at Olentangy Berlin High School on May 3, 2025, to determine the state champion of Ohio for the 2025 season.
Format
Games were played using the OAC format.
The tournament used a 16-team double elimination format, as it had in every year since 2019. After a team lost twice, they were placed into a consolation pool with the other teams who lost in the same round, guaranteeing each team at least five games.
Teams were seeded based on a formula that calculated their controllable points per game (CPPG) at Regionals. The top two teams in each of the five regions automatically qualified for the tournament, and the next six best teams across all regions, by CPPG, would qualify as wild-cards. Teams could not be considered for a wild-card berth until all teams who placed above them in their regional had already received bids. Teams could not be seeded higher than other teams who placed above them in their region.
