Academic Questions was a question-writing company founded in the late 1990s by Jeremy Krug. It featured one-liners, spelling questions, and other things generally considered today to be bad quizbowl, along with the immortal bonus leadin "Who wrote the following books?".
In 2003, Krug took a leave of absence that never ended, and the company closed.
The page advertising sample questions noted that they were "used at a high-school level Freshman-Sophomore Scholastic Bowl tournament in Southern Illinois." It is unknown what tournament this referred to.
