Alex Schmidt is a player for Penn State and formerly for Lehigh Valley Academy. He is the brother of player Nathaniel Schmidt and son of coach Peter Schmidt.

Career

Middle school

Schmidt won the 2014 Middle School National History Bee and the 2015 JV National History Bee.

High school

Schmidt set the record for highest individual single-game performance on an NAQT IS Set in 2016 with a score of 255 on a 15-3-0 statline at the 2016 Henderson Invitational.[1]

He was named a member of the 2016-17 HSQBRank All-World Teams first team.
