Cardiff had competed on and off sending occasional teams to tournaments like 2019 British Student Quiz Championships, 2022 MRNA Vaccine and 2022 Spring Novice.
Cardiff won the Southern mirror of 2025 ACF Fall at Cambridge with a team of Oliver Morten, Rick Line, Aeron Wheel and Harri Slaughter, with a 10-1 record and a 5-point victory over Cambridge B in the final. Cardiff A came third overall at the 2025 Scarlet Houseknight UK Mirror with a 9-2 record. Cardiff A came fourth overall at 2025 British Novice South with a 6-4 record. Cardiff A came 21st of 24 at 2026 ACF Regionals at Imperial with a 3-8 record. Cardiff A came 19th out of 23 at 2026 ARCADIA at Birminghan. Cardiff A came 10th out of 22 at 2026 MRNA V at Birmingham, with Cardiff player Oliver Morten topscoring the tournament.
