Cincinnati

Cincinnati was a Quizbowl team located in Clifton, OH at the University of Cincinnati. Their nickname was the Academic Bearcats. They appeared in SCTs four times from 2004 to 2007, playing D2 four times and D1 once.

Inactivity

The program shut down after the 2007 season for unknown reasons.

Revivals

Many attempts have been made to bring it back to life, with the last unsuccessful one coming in 2021. Some thought that the program would be revived when HSNCT top scorer Sam Blizzard decided to attend in 2015, but he did not make an effort to start a team, allegedly because he played essentially solo throughout high school and didn't want to continue.
