Gibault Catholic High School is a private high school in Waterloo, Illinois outside of St Louis. It competes in Class A, the "small school" division, of the Illinois High School Association's State Championship series. The Hawks also compete in the Cahokia Conference & have been finalists on WSIU's Hi-Q.

Gibault was coached for many years by IHSSBCA Hall of Fame coach, Sr. Elaine Freund, under whose tenure the program saw three 4th Place finishes at the IHSA State Tournament in ten years. Freund's career spanned over thirty years from the teams creation in 1987 until 2021.
