Eric Hamber Secondary School is a public high school in Vancouver, BC. The school has had a strong Reach for the Top team since the team's founding during 2012-2013 season: since that time they have won approximately half of the BC Provincial Championships and made numerous Nationals appearances, including a 2nd place finish in 2016 and 4th place finishes in 2019 and 2021. The team's strength is largely due to the presence of various Gifted programs at the school and especially the relatively large number of students from the elementary-level MACC program. The school is notable in Quizbowl for producing several prominent QBers at the college level, including Lia Rathburn, Chris Sims, and Wenying Wu.
