Hazel Singh was a player for and former club president of NYU. She served for two years on the executive board, as Treasurer from 2024-25 and then President from 2025-26. She made many internal changes in her time, primarily expanding the pool of good staffers at the club. She has a reputation as a skilled moderator and has often read finals for non-NYU-hosted events such as MRNA 2026 @ Columbia. She has a Lafer number of 1, having played on a team with Matt Lafer at the Absolute Cinema side event at Chicago Open 2025. In the 2025-26 season she completed the Nationals Ironman, moderated at the 2026 IQBT Undergraduate Championship Tournament, and staffed roughly 21 tournaments in total. She was the third woman to complete the Ironman, and was the only woman to do so in 2026.
