Jeff Xie played for John P. Stevens High School in Edison, NJ until his graduation in 2015. He won the 2014 Jeopardy Teen Tournament and was a key contributor at the 2012 NAQT New Jersey State Championships. He attended Columbia University in New York competing for Columbia D at the 2016 ICT DII. He has graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the field of Astrophysics.

Mr. Xie has staffed at the 2018 HSNCT and is coach for Laurel Springs and advisor for John P. Stevens.
