Riley Ray is a player for El Reno. As a freshman, he placed 3rd individually at his first NAQT tournament, the 2021 OU Invitational. He has also earned individual honors at the 2022 Oklahoma NAQT State Tournament, the 2022 Cougar Invitational, the 2022 Lawton Invitational, the 2023 Oklahoma NAQT State Tournament, and the 2023 Pioneer Invitational. He helped El Reno to 3rd place at the 5A 2023 OSSAA State Championship and a HSNCT bid that same year. He is the highest-scoring player in El Reno history, amassing that total in just one year, surpassing the previous record set by Ella McReynolds. He competed in the 2023 IPNCT, finishing 157th. At the 2023 HSNCT, he averaged 47 points a game, received rising star sophomore recognition, and was the highest scoring player amongst all teams from Oklahoma.
