The Scholastic Community Outreach Program or SCOP ("scope") was an Illinois-based organization founded by Kristin Strey in 2009. SCOP's mission was to help Illinois teams connect with quizbowl resources. SCOP usually produced a yearly novice set and a middle school set, both of which were generally successfully designed to be very accessible for new teams to play. SCOP also developed a series of study sheets designed to help new-to-quizbowl players learn the quizbowl canon.
In 2024, the company rebranded as The Rockford Quiz Bowl Company in co-ownership with Strey's husband, Brad Fischer.
