Triple Q Questions is a question provider based in unincorporated Carlisle County, Kentucky, near Paducah. They were founded in 1990 by Rick and Regina Allen, and Debbie Chamberlain purchased the company in 2005.
Their questions are widely considered to be among the lowest of quality, even at a time when states like Missouri had nothing but bad quizbowl. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
In addition to questions, Triple Q is the primary distributor of the Sho-Me Smart Light electronic buzzer system, which is produced by a siren company in rural Missouri. Triple Q also sells the Inquisitor Buzzer System, originally made by Educational Technologies in Maryland. The Inquisitor is a software/hardware system that turns PCs into lockout systems and projects scores.
