Jade Dai is the current president of the Jasper High School Quiz Bowl team and a former member of the Rice Middle School Quiz Bowl teams, succeeding Abraham Zhang and Frank (Zihan) Xu. He has maintained a five-year status in Quiz Bowl, participating in the 2020 and 2022 PISD Middle School Quiz Bowl Championship, and for Jasper the 2023 PISD Quiz Bowl High School Championship, the 2022 Kickoff XVIII Tailgate Classic, the 2023 ILLIAC Playtest Mirror (where Jasper most certainly beat up Ivy League teams), the 2023 Kickoff XIX Tailgate Classic, and the Plano West-hosted LUKA III tournament. He has traditionally been a highly active member and constantly attends quiz bowl meetings for his competitiveness and recreation. He has additionally revived Jasper Quiz Bowl, through his essential outreach managers, from a state of dysfunction to a thriving club with 125 members.
