Played quizbowl for three years in high school for Lutheran High School-Kansas City. Placed 4th in 2007 at the MSHSAA State Tournament Class I level. Placed 5th in 2008 at the same tournament and 4th overall individually. Currently play for Truman State University's team and finished 2nd at ACF Fall in the Division II bracket and 3rd overall. Won the 2010 NAQT Qualifier for the ICT in the Division II bracket playing for Truman State B team.
