What is the LEAST current
event, in particular a short-shelf-life event, which
produced an answer that came up when you were doing quiz
bowl? Guidelines: This answer...
1. Has to be
related a current event.
2. The event had to be
current at the time of the question.
3. The less
anyone would care about the particular answer months, if
not years from that point, the better.
4. Even so,
you still remember the answer.
Running an
errand just now I walked past a truck that had the word
"Killeen" on its side. Now there was a gruesome shooting in
Killeen, TX, in 1990 (give or take a year) that came up in
high school quiz bowl (in Tulsa, OK, at least) a month
or so later. Funny for it to come back to
me.
