shooting:
The incident did take place at Luby's Cafeteria,
IIRC, although I'm not sure if the truck driver drove
into the establishment.
My career hasn't been
that long by most standards, since I didn't start
until my senior year of high school, so I don't have
any old buzzer memories that trump Killeen or Yummy
Sandifer (who got that nickname from his tendency to say
"yummy" when he would receive cookies as a small child),
although I do recall when a Doug Flutie leadin was "The
highest-payed CFL player" and when a P****** giveaway would be
"TV show that caused seizures in Japaneese children"
(Of course, the latter was before P****** became the
sworn enemy of the group)
Gosh, how fifteen
minutes of fame can seem to drag out like the last two
minutes of an NCAA basketball tournament
game.
