While I see your point about the return address
causing problems I don't percieve any
others.
Having those email addresses does not give NAQT any
advantage, those are simply the addresses on the list, a
list any other organization can send mail
to.
As for undo publicity I think that the list is about
the last thing people looking for information come
across. It seeems highly unlikely that anyone would come
across the list before team's pages, the maize pages, or
the yahoo club. Most if not all Hs coaches are
familiar with some other form of qb either at the
local,state, or national level and would not see NAQT as you
suggest.
Yes, there would probably be a fuss if CBI was going
to run a mailing list, but that is a bad example
because it is a group completely out of touch with the
players. I don't think that anyone would object if it was
run by ACF, PACE, or Flagship U's quiz bowl team any
more than NAQT.
