Re: Precedent against recount

"Democrats in the county designed the
ballot."

Sounds like a fact to me.

"The notified everyone
of it."

Anyone denying that the sample ballot
was not distributed?

"They used it in the
election."

Certainly another fact.

"Now, when the election
doesn't go their way, they backtrack?"

There's
partisan there.

But then again, the Democrats
weren't complaining about the ballot until the results
came in.

"They put forward the ballot, knowing
everyone would rely on it."

Fact.

"Now
they've got to suck it up and move on."

Partisan
opinion.

"But it's ok and classy for Gore to promise to fight
this forever and all this nonsense?"

Rhetorical
question - opinion.

There is a case to be made that
Nixon could've at least delayed hte election in 1960.
There was enough evidence for that and no less a person
than Eisenhower told him to challenge the
election.

"I would hope Gore would want to be President by
playing by the rules, not bending them. Which is what he
is trying to do right now."

More
opinion.
