That would be (I assume) Monsignor
Donovan, which runs a large tournament over several weeks
in the fall.

>(At least not since Rutgers
New Jersey Bowl went under eons ago.)

I'm
curious. What was this? It sounds like the Rutgers
Academic Challenge, which is organized by "the
administration" at Rutgers, and incorporates multi-phase quiz,
debate, explain-the-scientific-device, some weird thing
called "History out of the Box" and other disparate
stuff.

To jonpin85:
I'd recommend these two
tournaments (Mon Don and RAC), if only because they offer
cash prizes (Mon Don did one of the years I went, but
I don't know if they still do). Mon Don's
tournament could fund other trips, and RAC's cash ($1000 for
each team member if you win) goes directly into your
pocket, so you can do whatever you want with it. Of
course, you may have to identify the state of which the
Windy City is the capital, but geography isn't part of
most college educations anyways.

See you on
Saturday.
