I actually managed to figure out what some of the
company that marketed Team Trivia's sources for questions
were (they cribbed them from a number of quiz books
and of course, Trivial Pursuit).

I usually
played alone, and it was the only game in town for me
(1996-97), which is why I have a more positive memory of
it.

On a related note, "Brain Men" by Marcus Berkmann is
an absolutely great book about Pub Quiz culture in
the UK. Amazon-UK can have it for you in a
week.
