Re: A Letter to Pres.Bush and Congress

I, too, find this liberal crap appalling. What
gives these people the right to think for themselves in
this time of national crisis? When I want to know what
course of action we should take, I'll listen to the
President or talk radio. Sure, most of the callers couldn't
find Afghanistan on a map, but they sure as hell ran
out and bought an American flag they minute they
realized there were no foreigners around for them to beat.
If that's not a true reflection of what this country
is all about, I don't know what is. Certainly,
though, not this open debate, not pausing a moment to
think before we act, not considering that innocent
human beings half way around the world are just as
innocent and just as human as Americans are. Plus, many of
these so called "academics" don't even seem to live in
this country. Just because their sorry countries are
too weak or unwilling to brutally slaughter does not
give them the right to tell my President, the Leader
of the Free World, and my trillion dollar military
what to do. As far as I'm concerned, this goes for
London and Toronto just as much as it does for Pakistan
and Iraq: You're either in the tank alongside us, or
it's rollin' through your village. We need to start by
getting the Taliban out of Afghanistan and getting Saddam
out of Iraq. But that should not and cannot be all. I
know in my heart Castro had a hand in this, and
frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if there were something
going on with Russia. Now is the time, at the dawn of
this new millennium, we must rise up as a nation and
insinuate ourselves into the life of every person on this
planet. We have plenty of people capable of and willing
to govern every corner of the globe, and we damn
well should. Once we marginalize all other ethnic and
religious groups, I'm confident there will be nothing left
to fight about, and peace will finally
reign.
