Re: Important Question

Speaking from my own experience, I've had those
sort of weird, on-again, off-again rounds. At Foghat,
there were two rounds where I scored only 20 ppg, but
in one round, 80. Same at Iowa, depending on what
the subject matter of the packets was. It's happened
to me at regular tourneys like last year's NAQT
Championship, also. The big question is whether or not the
person would have had access to the questions to cheat.
If so, then it's up to the player's teammates as to
what should happen. If the outcome would change awards
or qualification for other tourneys, then it's a big
deal. If not, then the teammates should think about
whether or not it's worth having the cheater on their
team. Disqualification and a lack of invitations to
other tourneys might eventually result. Unless you've
got some connections between the questions and the
player, then this may just be a quirk in the stats. As
for the drinking aspect, it usually causes an
immediate spike after lunch, but then a gradual falling off
as the player gets sleepier and sleepier. Unless you
play for Oklahoma, of course, when it's just daily
fuel...
