Michigan State University is a state university in East Lansing, MI. They first started playing in tournaments from 1996-1997 and 2001, and have done so continuously since 2007.

MSU's Academic Competition Club traditionally hosts the Michigan High School Quiz Bowl State Championship every year in April and have occasionally hosted the NAQT Michigan Championship. Michigan State finished third in Division II at the 2012 ICT, and was the third place undergraduate at 2014 ACF Nationals.

While led by notorious memer Jakob Myers, Michigan State reclaimed national attention starting in 2017, winning the DI undergraduate title at the 2019 ICT.
