The Central Suburban League or CSL is a long established competitive league consisting of 12 large high schools in the north suburbs of Chicago. All of these schools are eligible to compete in the "large school" class (Class AA) of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), though Niles North has not entered the IHSA State Series for many years.

League Play

Varsity questions are NAQT's Illinois set, which is a modification of two IS sets into one conference set that nearly reflects the IHSA distribution. Bryce Avery has been the frosh/soph question source for more than a decade.

Each team plays each other team once at both the varsity and frosh-soph levels. There is a tournament held at the end of the year, which has traditionally been single-elimination, but this may change for the 2010-11 season.
