Dunlap High School is a public high school located near Peoria, Illinois. Dunlap competes in Class AA, the "large school" division, of the Illinois High School Association’s State Championship Series. The team also competes in the Mid-Illini Conference & Peoria Area League.

The Eagles were coached for over thirty years by Aaron Barrington, who during that stretch perennially were contenders as one of the best quiz bowl programs in the Peoria-area. To date, Dunlap is the Peoria area's most recent State finalist & the first Class 2A finalist in over 20 years. Most notably, at the 2017 IHSA State Championship Tournament, Dunlap upset Stevenson, who were favorites to win the class AA division. In that tournament, Dunlap would finish 4th behind Auburn.

Many Eagles' alumni have gone to play collegiately including, Tim McElroy '03 (Chicago) & Paul Lee '15 (UPenn/WUSTL).

One source of Dunlap's success is the strength of its junior high programs (Dunlap Middle, Dunlap Valley), which have shown equal, if not greater, success at the State & local levels over the years. Several of these players have gone on to play for IMSA.

In 2025, Aaron was inducted into the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame recognizing the Eagles' perennial success and his leadership in Central Illinois quiz bowl over the years. Aaron is the fourth Peoria-area coach to be inducted into the Hall of Fame following John Rathbun, Jeff Vallosio, & Kathleen Brooks-Juergens.
