Johnson County Middle School is a 7-8 middle school in Paintsville, Kentucky. Johnson County is currently coached by Pamela Burton. It has participated in the MSNCT in 2015, where it achieved 8th place out of 128, tying with Longfellow A, Sutton and Miami Valley School (middle school). At the 2015 Middle School National History Bowl, Johnson County gained 6th place, losing by just 50 points to eventual winner Longfellow.
