Skye Walker was a Quizbowl player at Carleton University.

Skye joined the Carleton team in January 2014 and travelled with the team to play at 2014 Minnesota Undergraduate Tournament and Cane Ridge Revival at the University of Waterloo on March 15-16, 2014.

Skye is best remembered for an incident between her and Tournament director Joe Su at the Carleton mirror of 2014 ICCS. After one room fell behind the others after the first round, Joe burst into the room and yelled at the staffers to "hurry the fuck up!" Skye proceeded to take Joe to task for mistreating his staffers and that yelling at them was not a good way to motivate volunteers. Skye also informed Joe that the delay in the first round had not been due to slow reading, but because of malfunctioning buzzers that Joe had supplied. Skye left the tournament soon after. Making matters worse, Skye had made cupcakes the night before in honour of Joe's birthday, which were consumed later in her absence.

Despite her folk hero status, Skye mysteriously formally retired from Quizbowl later in October 2014. Her brief yet highly memorable Quizbowl career led Nick Penner to pithily quip "Where did she come from? Where did she go? Where did she come from? Skye Walker."
