Bruce Lou plays for Saratoga. He won the 2014 US History Bee, where he faced off against Sameer Rai in the finals. If it were not for the constant insistence of Ankit Aggarwal, neither finalist would have considered entering the competition. In addition, Bruce led the Saratoga team to 2nd place in the 2014 National History Bowl, where they lost to LASA in the finals. He also led in scoring for Team California at the 2014 edition of NASAT, which was only his second quizbowl competition ever.
Lou was named a member of the Second Team for the 2015 HSQBRank All-World Teams.
