Illinois' 2004 ICT Undergraduate champion consisted of tournament top scorer Sudheer Potru, Mike Sorice, and Andrew Ullsperger. They twice defeated undergraduate runner-up Harvard A, both in the final round of the playoffs and in the Undergraduate final, an advantaged best two-of-three that they won in a single game taped by Dan Passner.
Illinois' 2004 ICT Division II runner up* team consisted of Kelly Tourdot, Dave Kiang, Gary Leuty, and Charlie Bryant. Their only losses were to Carleton and the questionably eligible (c.f. 2004 ICT Division II Eligibility Scandal) UCLA team, whom they lost to in the finals after defeating Harvard in a tiebreaker match.
