2026 OAC Regionals
The 2026 OAC Regional Tournaments were held at various sites around Ohio on April 19, 2026, to determine the teams who would advance to the 2026 OAC State Tournaments.
Format
Four different regional tournaments were held at these sites:

Each tournament had a double-elimination format, with between 13 and 16 teams participating from each region. After a team lost two games, they would be placed into a consolation bracket with teams who lost in the same round as them, or in the case of the teams losing in the first two rounds of the losers' bracket in the smaller regions, all together.
Teams were seeded based on a 50-question seeding test given before the first round of play. Highly-seeded teams could receive first-round byes depending on how many teams were in their region.
The top two placing teams from each region would automatically advance to the state tournament. The other eight state tournament qualifiers (wild cards) were determined based on a formula using controllable points (the amount of points scored on team and alphabet round questions) across all regions. Teams could not be considered for a wild-card berth if a team who placed in front of them in their region failed to qualify.
For the first time in 2026, eight additional teams would qualify for a small-school Division II state tournament. The top Division II team from each region would qualify, as well as four wild cards, under the same qualifying guidelines as the Division I tournament.
