Find your ass

The term "find your ass" (or "touch your ass") is a pejorative term for a bonus part or an FTP that is so easy as to be trivial, i.e. equivalent to identifying part of one's own body. It is used similarly to but is much more common than curved yellow fruit.

The term describes a clue that is so easy that it impedes the function of a question, either by creating a difficulty cliff in a tossup or flattening conversion of a bonus. Avoiding this kind of clue is essential to achieving a question that can meaningfully differentiate teams at all levels and is the difference between achieving the ideal 90% conversion on an easy part and the (similar but distinct) 100% conversion.
