Fort Defiance High School

Fort Defiance High School participates in Region 3c in the VHSL they finished second in the region in 2016-17 and 2017-18. Fort Defiance finished second in their conference in four consecutive years and in each of those years they won the Valley District (14-15, 15-16, 16-17, 17-18).

Fort Defiance High School is a regular participant in the Battle of the Brains tournament and has finished in the final four of that tournament three times.

Fort Defiance is a regular participant in the Mountain Vista Open, the Cavalier Classic, and the NAQT Virginia State Championship.
