Kaneland High School is a public high school in Maple Park, Illinois, just on the western edge of the Chicago suburbs. The Knights compete in Class 2A, the "large school" division of the Illinois High School Association's State Championship series. Kaneland also competes in the Interstate Eight Conference.
Throughout the 2000's & 2010's, the Knights were a competitive program often travelling to many tournaments around northern Illinois and Chicagoland including the Streator Rotary, Reinstein Varsity, IHSSBCA Kickoff, and IHSSBCA Turnabout tournaments.
Kaneland is perhaps best known for its popular namesake Frosh/Soph & Varsity tournaments, also known as the Cereal Bowl, that for many years attracted top teams from around northern Illinois and Chicagoland.
The team was coached for many years by Ken Dentino, who was inducted into the IHSSBCA Hall of Fame in 2026 for his long-time support of Illinois Scholastic Bowl. The team is now coached by Kaneland alum & IHSSBCA All Sectional honoree, Brock Feece.
