National Science & Maths Quiz is a televised Science Bowl-style competition for secondary schools in Ghana, created in 1993. The show is enormously popular, airing across the country in primetime and often triggering nationwide debate over rulings on correct answers. Some of the largest companies in Ghana are involved as sponsors. Essentially every secondary school in the country participates in regional-level qualifying phases, with the top performers advancing to the televised single-elimination bracket.
