Cool... hopefully Toni will have the time to get
the program off the ground in her first year. A Mardi
Gras trash tournament may not be far behind. (Okay,
maybe not ON Mardi Gras weekend, because that would
just be totally insane.)
It may not help
credentials much unless the people there really do want to
establish a good quiz bowl team. Perhaps some of the "press
releases" on ICT could help matters, if anyone still has
copies/links to those stories. Find out what schools LSU wants
to compare themselves with (i.e., compete with) and
find out if any of those teams have viable qb teams.
I'm sure it can be argued: TxA&M, TxAustin, Arkansas,
and Oklahoma are within shooting distance.
