Re: Eligibility in D2

I'm not doubting that Carleton or any of the
other schools at the Midwest Sectional did as well as
they should have. I'm not even upset about playing
against older players anymore, now that I've honestly
thought it over.

My position is best stated by
the following: "There is a loophole in NAQT rules
which allows much older and much more experienced
players to play in a bracket meant for new ones. While
this does not occur frequently, it is still a problem
which can be best remedied by limiting the maximum
number of D2 SCTs for any player to 2. This will ensure
almost completely fair competition for any player who
wishes to play D2."

I'll retract any claims I
made specifically about the Midwest Sectional, as I
was trying to use it as an example. Unfortunately, it
wasn't as good an example as I originally thought, nor
does that matter, because I'm suggesting this across
the board for all D2 tournaments. Feel free to debate
that section in quotes.
