Yale University is a private institution located in New Haven, Connecticut.
Each year the club usually hosts two high school tournaments: one in the fall, FAcT (Fall Academic Tournament), which uses NAQT questions, and one in the spring, BHSAT (Bulldog High School Academic Tournament), which is house-written. It was also the Northeast host for both incarnations of ACF Winter.
Though the club was thought by some to have grown stagnant in recent years, the emergence of Richard Mason and John Lawrence as strong players, and the acquisition of Stanford veteran Kevin Koai, greatly helped to revitalize it. They won the Northeast NAQT SCT DI in 2010 and 2012 and DII in 2011, won the NE site of ACF Regionals in 2010-2012, and got extremely high D-values placing 2nd in NAQT SCT DII in 2010 and DI in 2011, behind Brown both times.
Yale won the NAQT DII ICT in 2002 and and 3rd place in 2012 NAQT ICT; in 2011, they won DII ICT again and obtained their first ACF Nationals title. They won ACF Nationals again in 2012.
