Western Kentucky University (WKU) is a college quizbowl team located in Bowling Green, KY. WKU's Academic Competition Club was unofficially founded in November 2009 by Nick Conder, Brian Riddle, and Shawna Felkins. The club has slowly grown over the last few seasons, and the addition of high school recruits (some dual-enrolled students from Gatton) has enhanced the team's performance in recent years.

Other regular events include a Fall JV Tournament that usually mirrors SCOP Novice, occasionally hosting NAQT State, spring high school tournaments of varying names and similar philosophies, and 1-2 college tournaments every semester.
