Pranavkrishna Bharanidharan (Class of 2026) is the captain of the Bella Vista High School quizbowl team. He was formerly a player for California Montessori - Orangevale.
Pranav is known for his strength in geography and history and high level of general knowledge in other subjects such as current events, religion, mythology, and science.
In high school, Pranav has finished as an all-star at the 2024 HSNCT (6th place) and 2025 HSNCT (7th place), and captained Bella Vista to a T-21 finish in 2025.
In middle school, Pranav won the 2022 IPNCT Middle School Division and was the top scorer of 2022 MSNCT, with the highest PP20TUH of all players at the tournament. [1]. He led the California Montessori - Orangevale team to a t-13 finish at the 2022 MSNCT by playing solo.
He is the national champion of the 2025 IAC Varsity Geography Bee, 2024 IAC Junior Varsity History Bee, and 2023 IAC Junior Varsity Geography Bee, all held in Arlington, Virginia.
