Jeffrey Hill is a founding member and former president of the Missouri Quizbowl Alliance. He played for Liberty High School from 2002-2005 and Missouri S&T from 2005-2009. Jeffrey is a primary developer of the Quizbowl Resource Database and helps his brother Kyle with the HILLSheets scorekeeping system. He previously operated scobo.net, which hosted his ScoBo Question Database and ScoBo Tournament Central web applications.
Jeffrey continues to actively promote the expansion of "good quizbowl" in Missouri as a member of MOQBA, staffing tournaments on many weekends each season. He was president of MOQBA from July 2010 through July 2024. After staffing the first two editions of the NAQT Missouri Qualifier while attending Missouri S&T, he has been a co-director of that tournament every year since, except in 2026, when he missed the Qualifier for the first time ever to recover from a skiing injury earlier in the month. He is also an administrator and the host of the Missouri Quizbowl Message Board.
Jeffrey has been working as a software engineer in the Kansas City area since graduating in 2009. Notably, he lives in Kansas.
