Mattias "Mati" Ehatamm is a quizbowl player at the University of Maryland, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in quantum computing. He played for Waterloo during his undergraduate career.

At Waterloo, he served several terms as President and was regarded as a benevolent dictator. Introduced to quizbowl by classmate Michael Du, he played on the Waterloo team that won the 2023 DII ICT, along with Du, Liam Kusalik, and Gaian Valdegamo, and with Du, Jared He, and Kusalik, he played on the Waterloo team that placed 4th and 9th at 2024 ACF Nationals and 2025 ACF Nationals, winning the undergraduate title at the latter. He was recognized as one of the best players on the Canadian circuit, placing 5th and 3rd in 2024 and 2025 Canadian player polls, and was an early evangelist for Anki flashcarding at Waterloo.

Mattias is notable for several incidents involving his car; he has drifted into a ditch during a snowstorm, filled his gas car with diesel (believed to result from his self-serviceless upbringing in New Jersey), and received a speeding ticket while driving to and from trivia tournaments. He considers himself to be in a rivalry with Sinecio Morales.
