The 2025 High School National Championship was won by Livingston A, consisting of Arav Kaushik, Benjamin Laskov, Robert Wang, and Kevin Zhang. The tournament was held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.

Saturday Morning and early Afternoon rounds across both the Marriott Marquis and Hilton Atlanta experienced disruptions from the music of the 2025 Atlanta Caribbean Carnival parade, which assembled on Peachtree Street nearby. The Marquis Ballroom had to pause gameplay at one point because the tables were shaking from the bass of the music outside. A pet lemur was visible from game rooms. The tournament progressed fine once the parade began moving.

No former HSNCT champion and only one former Top 4 finisher made the Top 4 of this tournament, which thus equaled 2019 in new contenders at the semifinal stage. For the first time ever since the present HSNCT format was introduced, the entire "Super Seven" had no former champions, guaranteeing a first-time winner by the time of the Sunday dinner break.
