The 2025 PACE National Scholastic Championship was held on June 8th & 9th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL, in the Chicago metropolitan area. Strake Jesuit defeated Lexington to take the title; in placing 2nd, Lexington (whose team consisted entirely of 10th-graders) took the JV title and became the highest-ranking JV team at any NSC to date.
Trivia
- By placing 2nd, Lexington also secured the highest-ever finish by a team from the New England region at a high school national championship. (Teams from New England had already won championships at the middle school and collegiate levels.)
- This is the first year since 2002 in which the champion team in that year's HSNCT (Livingston) did not attend the NSC at all.
- The tournament used prelim brackets of six teams each. One such bracket, "Anatolia", ended with an extremely rare five-way tie between five teams at 3-2. PACE deployed a predetermined tiebreaker procedure on half-packets to determine entry into three distinct playoff tiers.
