The 2025 NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament was held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.

Despite the graduation of their strongest player from the previous title-winning team, Matt Jackson, Chicago (Adam Fine, Claire Jones, John Marvin, Ned Tagtmeier) won the DI championship for the second year in the row, defeating UG Champion Cornell A in the final. Their victory came after devastating losses in their first two playoff rounds to Toronto A and Cornell A, finding themselves at a 305-20 deficit at halftime versus the latter.

DII was won by Harvard (Rohan Ganeshan, Chloe Chow, Max Neal, Sohum Sukhatankar); Rohan was also the leading scorer of DII. Harvard lost to Georgia Tech in the playoffs, but defeated them in a 2-game advantaged final.

Trivia

  • Rohan Ganeshan was the third player to be both top scorer and winner of ICT DII, and the first in 18 years. The other top scorers and winners were Chris Ray in 2007 and Jeff Hoppes in 1999.
  • Three out of four members of the second-place Georgia Tech had been seniors at Johns Creek the previous year, where they came in 13th in the 2024 HSNCT. (The other member was sophomore Ian Lu, a former History Bee champion from Hunter.)
  • This is the first time in which either Auburn or Georgia Tech came in the top 4 of ICT DII.
